The Tactus Group of Companies was founded in 2013 by three Chartered Accountants with a common vision of providing a best of breed suite of advisory services by employing a talented team of professionals with immense experience in M&A Advisory, BBBEE Advisory, Capital raisings, Cross Border Advisory, and Executive Education and Training.

The Tactus Group provides advisory services to a blue chip client base that includes listed companies, state owned entities, private companies, investment companies, multinationals, family owned businesses and high net worth individuals.

Biography:
Previously worked at PwC and PwC Corporate Finance in South Africa and India.
Founder of Tactus Capital, Mr-Mak Learning, ZKR Capital, Health X Capital, and PuRK Energy.
Local shareholder to GL Events S.A.
Sector experience covering healthcare, renewable energy, manufacturing, FMCG, and ICT.

Zahid Fakey

Director

Business development, M&A strategy, corporate governance, and board directorships.
Biography:
Previously, Zahid was a partner at PwC, leading the risk assurance practice for Kwa-Zulu Natal and Swaziland.
Zahid has worked in South Africa and 18 other countries.
His industry experience includes healthcare, automotive, retail, FMCG, government, and financial services.
Some of Zahid’s clients include the JMH Group, Lenmed, Toyota, Unilever, Spar, Grindrod, NBI, and DoH.
Zahid serves on the boards of Albaraka Islamic Bank and Dube Tradeport Corporation.
Zahid is also a leadership trainer and executive mentor to current and future leaders.
Zahid is one of the founders of weFEEDsa, an NPO based in Durban, and ZKR Capital, a mid-market private equity fund based in Durban.

Roshni Lawrence

Previously CEO of SGB-Smit Power Malta, one of the largest power transformer manufacturers in South Africa.
Roshni also held numerous executive and senior management positions at PFG Building Glass, PPC, and AfriSam.
Solid experience in strategy development and execution, business development and M&A, strong financial and operational management, business performance and strategic turnaround programs, and project management from conceptual studies to financial structuring to implementation, using highly analytical skills and decisive leadership.

Dino Theodorou

Managing Director

Biography:
Dino is the founder of iValue Investments and is a chartered accountant with over 25 years of deal-making, investment banking, private equity, and corporate finance experience across various industries.
Dino is a JSE-approved executive and a member of the AltX Advisory Committee.
Prior to forming his own corporate finance business in October 2021 Dino was head of private equity at GFS Holdings for 2 years and spent almost 10 years at Grindrod Bank Limited where he headed up their corporate finance and JSE sponsor division.
Prior to that, Dino spent approximately 5 years with PSG Capital where he was a director of corporate finance, and close to 6 years at Ernst Young Corporate Finance as an associate director.
Dino consults for Meridian Capital Advisory under the Meridian Capital Advisory brand on mandates where his knowledge and experience will add value to our clients.
